AKSI MENDEBARKAN DI ESTORIL : HAKIM DANISH TAMAT DI TEMPAT KEDUA

🇲🇾 Estoril, Portugal | 4 Mei 2025 – Bintang muda permotoran negara, Hakim Danish, memulakan kempen 2025 FIM JuniorGP World Championship bersama pasukan SIC Racing – MSI dengan cemerlang apabila menamatkan perlumbaan di tempat kedua dalam pusingan pembukaan yang berlangsung di Circuit do Estoril, Portugal.
Dengan misi besar untuk musim ini, Danish mempamerkan peningkatan konsisten sepanjang minggu perlumbaan. Bermula di kedudukan ke-19 dalam sesi Latihan Bebas Pertama (FP1), beliau melonjak ke tempat kesembilan dalam sesi FP2. Dalam sesi kelayakan, Danish menunjukkan prestasi mengagumkan apabila mencatatkan masa ketiga terpantas, sekali gus melayakkan diri ke barisan hadapan (front row) untuk perlumbaan utama.

Perlumbaan bermula pada jam 1.00 tengah hari waktu tempatan dengan cuaca yang baik. Sebaik sahaja lampu hijau dipadamkan, Danish meluru ke hadapan namun dipintas oleh pelumba Ireland, Casey O’Gorman. Aksi penuh dramatik menyusul apabila Danish bersaing rapat dengan O’Gorman dan Rico Salmela dari Finland, sementara Brian Uriarte dari Sepanyol memanfaatkan peluang untuk mencipta jurang di hadapan dan kekal selesa di tempat pertama.

Persaingan sengit merebut tempat kedua kekal sehingga ke pusingan terakhir. Ketika Danish mendahului menuju ke selekoh keempat, O’Gorman cuba memintas Salmela namun berlaku insiden pelanggaran yang menyebabkan O’Gorman terjatuh. Insiden tersebut memberi ruang kepada Danish untuk menjarakkan diri dan menamatkan perlumbaan di tempat kedua tanpa sebarang cabaran di penghujung perlumbaan.

Pusingan kedua FIM JuniorGP World Championship akan berlangsung pada 31 Mei hingga 1 Jun 2025 di Litar Jerez, Sepanyol. Sebelum itu, tumpuan Danish akan beralih ke Perancis bagi menyertai pusingan Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup yang akan diadakan di Litar Le Mans pada 9 hingga 11 Mei 2025.

🇬🇧 Estoril, Portugal | 4 May 2025 – Rising Malaysian motorsport talent, Hakim Danish, kicked off his 2025 FIM JuniorGP World Championship campaign with a strong performance, securing second place in the opening round held at the Circuit do Estoril, Portugal, as part of the SIC Racing – MSI team.
With high ambitions for the season, Danish demonstrated consistent progress throughout the race weekend. He started in 19th position during the first Free Practice (FP1) session before improving to ninth in FP2. In the Qualifying session, Danish put in an impressive effort to clock the third fastest time, earning a front-row start for the main race.

The race began at 1:00pm local time under clear weather conditions. As the lights went out, Danish launched forward but was overtaken by Ireland’s Casey O’Gorman. A dramatic battle ensued as Danish fought closely with O’Gorman and Finland’s Rico Salmela, while Spain’s Brian Uriarte capitalised on the intense tussle to pull away and maintain a comfortable lead in first place.

The fierce contest for second position continued until the final lap. As Danish led the chasing pack into Turn 4, O’Gorman attempted to overtake Salmela but made contact, resulting in a crash. The incident allowed Danish to break away and cross the finish line in second place unchallenged in the closing moments of the race.

The second round of the FIM JuniorGP World Championship will take place from 31 May to 1 June 2025 at the Jerez Circuit in Spain. Before that, Danish will shift focus to France, where he will compete in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at Le Mans from 9 to 11 May 2025.
